Sharks Facing Extinction in the Med
The number of sharks in the Mediterranean has dramatically reduced in number. The Hammerhead has reduced by 99.99%. The reasons fro this are overfishing and the fact they take a long time to reproduce. Fishermen regard them as pests and there numbers have not been monitored.
